Entergy Corp. may sell its operations in Arkansas and Texas, as well as its nuclear division, chief executive officer J. Wayne Leonard has said.
Leonard made the comments at a Las Vegas trade conference Tuesday.
Earlier this year, Entergy announced it is looking at building two new nuclear plants, including one at River Bend in St. Francisville.
Leonard told investors that the company’s strategy will be to break up the utility and spin off the nuclear division.
