Dear &firstname;,

It was great see you last month at the White House Business Council Rural Economic Forum in Oxford, MS. I would like to personally thank you for being a part of this important day that brought together Administration officials, community leaders, small business owners, and entrepreneurs for a conversation about something that not only concerns the economy of Mississippi, but also that of the surrounding area and the Delta region as a whole.

I would especially like to thank Ari Matusiak and the White House Business Council, Deputy Administrator Marie Johns and the US Small Business Administration, and Chairman Earl Gohl and the Appalachian Regional Commission for teaming up with the Delta Regional Authority for this great event. By coming together a common goal of tackling regional issues, we can turn the challenges facing the Delta into opportunities. It is our priority to raise our people out of poverty, provide them with a first-class education and help create lasting, good-paying jobs for years to come. I believe all of our communities can only be strong if the region is strong. When it comes to creating jobs and driving investment into the Delta, we are partners. We must be partners.

It was a privilege to meet with so many of the great local leaders in our region and discuss the ways that we can build stronger communities, support small businesses and entrepreneurs, and improve the lives of those in our cities and towns across the state. If there is any way that the Delta Regional Authority or I can ever be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Sincerely,

Chris Masingill
Federal Co-Chairman, Delta Regional Authority
