Delta Regional Authority announces launch of @DeltaRegional Twitter feed in conjunction with Broadband Summit

DRA information and live feeds will now be available on Facebook, Twitter

MISSISSIPPI DELTA - The Delta Regional Authority announced that @DeltaRegional is the newest way to keep up with the latest information and activities of the agency. Launching a Twitter feed will complement news and information that is already posted to Facebook and the agency’s Web site. Today’s launch is in conjunction with this week’s eight state broadband summit, hosted by the Delta Regional Authority in Memphis, TN.

"This week’s conversation about Broadband issues across the region emphasizes our commitment to a more connected, more productive Delta region,” said Chris Masingill, Federal Co-Chairman of the Delta Regional Authority. “That is why I am pleased to announce that anyone can participate in the conversation through the official launch of the Delta Regional Authority’s Twitter page. This feature, along with our Facebook page and DRA.gov, are important communication tools designed to increase our interaction with people across the 252 counties and parishes in our footprint as well as across the country.”

During tomorrow’s DRA Eight State Broadband Summit, participants can use the hashtag #BBDRA2012 to tweet about the Summit and keep up with panel discussions.
